Keeping It FRESH! and Local!

We love being able to offer our product in FRESH, ready to cook, packages.

All of our pierogies are made using FRESH and LOCAL Manitoba grown potatoes, cooked with garlic for a great taste. We sauté only REAL onions – nothing dried or powdered. We make superior tasting pierogies with tender dough made from scratch, packed with FRESHLY made fillings.

Our ingredients list includes only the FRESHEST and highest quality products found throughout Manitoba. We use LOCAL, celebrated companies for our pierogies such as Bothwell Cheese, Fresh Cut Locally Ltd. and Elmans Kosher Foods.

All of our five flavours of Perfect Pierogies (Potato & Cheddar, Sauerkraut, Spinach & Feta, Spicy Chili and Cottage Cheese) are available in FRESH varieties at many retail locations close to you.  To find out the closest, click HERE.

Perfect Pierogies Three Cheese Pierogy Frittata

Time: 45 minutes
Serves: 6

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Perfect Pierogies Spinach & Feta pierogies
  • 6 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup old cheddar, grated
  • ½ cup green onions, chopped
  • ¾ cup cooked mushrooms
  • ½ cup Parmesan, grated
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ fresh dill, chopped

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400º F.
  2. Cook pierogies according to package instructions. Drain well, set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, oregano, black pepper, chili powder, salt and cheddar. Mix well, then add in green onions and mushrooms.
  4. Spray a 9-inch springform pan with nonstick spray. Add three tablespoons of egg mixture to bottom of pan. Arrange cooked pierogies inside pan. Top with remaining egg mixture.
  5. Sprinkle with Parmesan and paprika.
  6. Bake for 22 to 24 minutes or until centre is set.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes before removing springform pan. Top with chopped dill. Serve with crusty bread for breakfast or with a green salad for lunch or a light supper.

Note: This recipe can easily be made in an 8 x 8 baking pan or large pie dish.
